Join us for an afternoon of awareness, remembrance, and recovery as our community unites to:
- Honor the lives we’ve lost to addiction
- Support those on the journey of recovery
- Learn how we can all play a role in ending overdose
Program Highlights:
- Keynote Speaker: From the Office of the Attorney General — “One Pill Can Kill” Working Together to Fight Fentanyl
- Inspirational Voices: Pastor Thad Decker of Beth Carr Baptist Church on the church’s role in stigma reduction, plus community members sharing stories of resilience, recovery, and remembrance
- Law Enforcement Q&A: A parents-only exhibit to help families recognize items of concern at home
- Family-Friendly Fun: Bounce houses, face painting, coloring tables
- Refreshments available at the Food Lion Table and the Recovering Hands Food Booth
- Community Resources: Explore the new Feeding Halifax trailer and the School Board Resource Bus
